With Everything is Going to be All Right, I set out to compose a form of tender musical embrace. Inspired by the beautiful, reassuring words of Derek Mahon's poem, the piece is bookmarked by an expressive melody, with a graceful, sunrise-like climax at its centre. The piece emanates a profound sense of hope and resilience; with words that provide a gentle promise of brighter days ahead.
